Ephesians 3 – THE MYSTERY REVEALED! The Lord made a way for the Gentiles (anyone other than the Jews – that’s you and me!) to obtain the blessings and benefits of salvation through Him, the Messiah. Jew and Gentile can only obtain true salvation through Christ. The Jew must forsake their pursuit of righteousness through their effort to keep the Mosaic Law and obtain salvation through Christ alone as their Once and For All atoning sacrifice. The Gentiles must forsake their pagan idol worship and their philosophical ideologies if they want to be saved by grace. IN the end, both Jew and Gentile (ALL humankind!) must come to salvation the same way, through faith in Jesus Christ. Neither can be justified or made righteous through the keeping of the Law.
