PSALM OF ASCENTS – 120-134 – I don’t know about you, but when I go on a road trip, I want to make sure I have a great playlist of songs for the journey.
These Psalms were the great “playlist” that the pilgrims sang while making their annual “road trips” to Jerusalem to worship for the feasts of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. Songs of joy; songs of God’s faithfulness and providence; songs of His goodness, provision and sustenance; songs of victory and freedom from bondage; songs about the joy of worshipping the Lord for who He is and all He has done!
Make this your “pre-Easter” playlist as we journey to the Passover of ALL Passovers, when Jesus would go to the cross to save all mankind and give victory over sin and death through His accomplished work on the cross as proven by His resurrection, ascension, and position at the right hand of God. He is ALIVE and He wants a personal relationship with YOU.
