Esther 6 - In Esther 4:1, Mordecai “wailed loudly and bitterly” in the city square which was located in front of the King’s Gate. A royal decree had just been issued . . . an empire-wide death sentence on the Jews that would occur on the 13th day of the twelfth month, which was Adar. BUT GOD!!! Jump forward to where we are in Chapter 6 - an ironic and somewhat humorous divine reversal is about to happen. Haman, the one responsible for the decree, was about to come face-to-face with God’s justice for his hatred for the Jews. And neither Mordecai nor Esther were aware of it! In the very place where Mordecai once mourned, this faithful and humble man of God would be given great honor! Lord you are so good!!!!
