Have you ever done something foolish?? Have you ever been disobedient?? Did you ever allow yourself to be led astray? Were you ever addicted to sinful pleasures or walked in malice and/or envy?? Ever hated someone or been the object of hate?? Let’s be honest, we can all answer yes to one or more or even all of these things. BUT THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED . . . . the washing and regeneration . . .the new birth . . we have been made not only CLEAN, but NEW!! New birth happens because Jesus came into the world as the kindness, mercy and love of God and died for our sins and rose again. We owe it all to Him!
Nothing should make us more humble and more grateful
than the truth that we have born again, not because of anything we did, but because of the mercy, love and kindness of God. HE DID IT ALL. Thank you, Lord, for your grace that does not compromise your holy standards or condone sin, but rather, gives us the power over sin and motivates us to live glorious lives, devoted to You, and passionate to do good in this world!
